Drawings

Over the weekend, I took some time to hand-draw these motifs in my sketchbook in order to prepare for Monday's session. I experimented with positive and negative effects in my drawings to add abstract-like feel to my motifs. My plan is to transfer a good selection of different motifs onto the screen and experiment with compositions while printing on the fabric by masking out some of the shapes for each sample.
