Photoshop

For today's digital session, we were told to bring in photographs and textures that relate to our colour mood. It was quite an interesting lecture as I did not know most of the things which were taught today. I learnt how to alter hue/saturation of a picture and feathering down shapes in order to create layers. I think I will be using   hue/saturation option in my work, however I am not sure if I will be using the feathering and layering method, as we're already close to deadline and I don't want to overcomplicate my work. I mostly use Photoshop to create a blending feel to my work and feathering will not help me to do so. One way of developing my ideas forward is to digitally print some of the textures and photographs and take them into print room to screen-print on top. This will improve both my Photoshop and printing skills and give my work a more developed outlook.

Edited version. Colours are taken from a section of my colour stripe.

These photographs have turned out exactly the way I wanted. Through some hue/saturation alteration I have achieved something I could not have achieved without using Photoshop. A circle in the middle showing the original colour I had in my photograph, has created some depth in the image.
