Presentation (Peer Review)

Throughout this week, I have been preparing samples to put up on the wall for the presentation to show what my project is about and give a sense of the colour mood I am developing in my practice for this unit. I decided to have my colour stripe and source image in the middle of my space, at eye level, because I want it to be the main part of my presentation which would then lead the eye to all the samples around it. It was a bit of a challenge trying to cover the space without overcrowding. I overcame that challenge by arranging the pieces I wanted to present on the wall, on the floor first  then played around with the composition and pairing up images together to see which images compliment each other. I think my wall tells a thorough colour story which is what I aimed to achieve.
I am more than pleased with the feedback I got, as I wasn't expecting such positive remarks. It was good to know that my peers could understand what my work is about and how I am using colour stripe in my practice. Most of the comments have been made on my good use of colour which means I must be doing something right! However, after looking at everyone's work, I think I have limited research and drawings which is what I am going to be working on till the end of the project, as well as developing my samples further and being as imaginative as possible with the compositions.
