Oil Pastel Study

I set myself a small task of using only 2 oil pastel colours for this drawing. The colours had to compliment each other, so I chose a dark and a lighter shade. I  love the end result of this drawing! It turned out a lot better than I expected. The colour choice and the pale grey background work together to achieve a night mode effect, and the quick mark making turns it into an expressive study. The flash of camera shining upon the edges of wheels definitely enhances the effectiveness of the drawing and gives it more depth.
